Someone went crazy and killed people. It's a fucking tragedy.
Mourn the dead and let's continue with life. I don't want a sound clip and I
don't give a shit about his shitty script. Fuck him and his bullet-ridden
corpse. I hope he's getting lava poured into his asshole in hell. Can we move
on now?
Oooh, "Futurama" is on!
...that
the fucking media is willing to give that dead prickhole what he wanted all in
the name of ratings and money. He wanted to be noticed. He wanted attention. So
he commits mass murder and contacts NBC.
I've
said before that you can't blame video games or music or movies just because
one person goes psycho and shoots a bunch of people. He was crazy. You can't
prevent crazy.
BUT...you
can ENCOURAGE crazy. When you give him what he wanted, you encourage other
psychotic fucks to follow suit so that THEY can get attention in the same vein.
You hurt the family of the victims with the constant images and audio of that
fucker, and you hinder the healing process.
What
should the media have done instead to help prevent this? Discourage the
crazy...you do the exact opposite of what a psychotic socially-inept douchebag
wants. You give the attention to, not him, but who he hated the most.
What
news shows should have done:
Reporter:
"It appears that the motivation behind this horrible act, was that Cho
despised rich kids...So we've got one of those rich kids he grew up with right
here in our studio! Say hello to Chad Johnson! Hi Chad."
Chad:
"Hey."
Reporter:
"So, Chad, I understand that life's been pretty easy and good to you. I
hear you're banging a supermodel."
Chad:
"Yeah, she really likes money. She is AWESOME."
Reporter:
"That's good to hear. Say, Chad...do you own a yacht?"
Chad:
"Hell yeah! Three of them!"
Reporter:
"WOW...that is excessive. We'll take a look at those yachts right after
this."
Just a suggestion.
