Big N Rich's Buck Owens Tribute

Last night I mistakenly flipped the channel to the Academy Of Country Music Awards. Luckily enough, I got to see Dwight Yoakum doing a tribute to Buck Owens with an "all-star" band that included Billy Gibbons, Brad Paisley, and some mohawked numbnuts trying to play country drums and failing miserably. As usual for pop country awards shows, they did a medley of Buck's tunes; 4 or 5 songs, about 30 seconds each. Then they had Buck & Bonnie's son come out, and he and Dwight did a duet of "Streets Of Bakersfield" that was pretty cool. Until....

They start panning the crowd with the cameras and showing all the pop stars watching the show, then they (of course) zoom in on the biggest camera whores in town, Big 'N Rich. They were hugging and singing along and hopping around like the dorks they are, as if they gave a rat's ass about Buck Owens. Those knuckle-draggers couldn't play a Buck Owens song (without rehearsing it for a week) if their life depended on it. They probably ran over all the way from the other side of the auditorium, just to make sure they got on camera.

Well, at least they're consistent. They never fail to prove over and over again what total douchenozzles they are.
